Police arrest three Christians who tried to convert Hindus citing drought

The Police in Arehalli village in Chikkamagaluru taluka arrested three Christians attempting to convert people, citing the reasons of drought. While attempting the conversion they said, “A severe drought is imminent. There will be no drinking water. You are in trouble. Your God cannot do anything. If you come to our religion, Jesus will save you all. Crops and water will come. Your troubles will end”.
A Christian named Rajan along with two others went to houses in Indawar, Undedasarahalli and Arehalli and tried to convert. At that time, he also went to Prasanna Kumar’s house in Arehalli. Realizing the intention of the people who had come to convert, Prasanna opposed their statements and with the help of the villagers filed a Police complaint against the trio.
